This album is
probably from the mid 1970's and it's likely Lou's shows at
his family's Giovi's Inn were the last supper club floor
shows in the Trenton area. You came in and had a nice meal
and enjoyed an evening of entertainment. This album is on the "Mark
Records" label and I think the label was named for Lou's son
Mark Giovi who himself is an excellent singer now living and
performing in Las Vegas, visit:

Here's the
opening number...
Lou Giovi Quintet - Delilah
And here is what it sounded like when Lou got some audience participation during the Sing-Along portion
of the show. It
sounds like they're having a great time! Listen close and
you'll likely hear your grandparents.
Lou Giovi Quintet - Live At
Giovi's Inn
My high school
friend Kathy Clemency and her husband Chuck now own the old
Giovi's Inn, now known as the 130 South American Grill
and Sushi. Ever notice the
large beacon that sits in the parking lot holding the sign?
Here's a great story of it's history courtesy of the
Groveville Memories website by Gary Lippincott.
