Sam The Band - 1

Thursday nights, Carnegie Hall, SAM The Band, Slipping Into Darkness...

STB was, in my opinion, the best band that ever played in the Trenton area. They were all great musicians, they all had strong vocal abilities (except Marty, I don't think he ever sang a note!). They had a killer sound and light system and they played every night like they were in front of a stadium full of fans and they had fun doing it.

Sam The Band also had 3 guys on the road crew who were always nice enough to let me hang out with them. Greetings to Joe Chis, Pete Bukovic and Kid Flash!

So I asked Jack Lesley once where the name SAM came from, and he told me it's the reason they started the band, Sex And Money. Can't argue with that!
