I know, I know …
So I've been a bit remiss about keeping this up, hey I'm working two jobs, occasionally three. This site gets pushed to a low priority; I'll try to do better from now on.
Lorelai

She is doing well; battling the usual baby maladies, e.g. diaper rash, cutting teeth, her older brother, etc.; the usual. Since my last writing, she is now enrolled at the A-Basin Child Development Center (CDC) on Buckley Air Force Base. Over all it is very good for her, she started off in a different room but had to move up since she turned one. The staff in the "new" room has been a little intermittent. I think (hope) they have those issues solved so there can be some continuity in her classroom.
She is running all over the place now, chasing Malcolm grabbing toys and hauling them off to new and different places, for us to discover much later. She is babbling a lot now and some of it is actual words. She is pretty good at thank you, momma, dada; at least once we heard her say Malcolm, clear as day. It was really cool.
I've added a link to see the schedule for the kids at school. Every week we photocopy the curriculum for the classrooms and I type them up and post them so we can look at them anytime we need.
Malcolm

Malcolm is also doing well. He is also enrolled at the CDC on base. His
classroom just got a new teacher Ms Tina, he seems to like so far. Apparently Malcolm is quite a ladies man, we heard from
the CDC about how he has been playing with the girls, or at least a couple
in general, a little too much hugging apparently. Then a couple of weeks later we stopped at Taco Bell to grab a quick dinner,
and ran into a girl from his old school, Imagination Plus. Apparently he made quite the impression on this little girl as well,
because her mother had heard all about him for quite some time. So I guess we will have to watch that in the future. In June
we went out to Cedaredge and saw my Dad and Mary, Malcolm had a great time. Probably his favorite thing was "Molly" the Mule.
Not an animal mule but a utility vehicle, its like a cross between a golf cart and a 4-wheeler.
Malcolm love riding in it, he got to sit up front w/ Grand Dad. Malcolm thought that was pretty cool, I'm sure my Dad like it also.
Malcolm also got to ride a horse, twice. He even helped Lorelai sit on the horse; she wasn't very excited about it.
Malcolm has become infatuated with Star Wars. It's my own fault I suppose, I really like the Star Wars movies, and let him see them. A while ago now, we took him to Toys 'R Us so he could use the gift card he got for Christmas. After looking all over the store we couldn't change his mind and he picked out a lightsaber. Here is the one he picked out. It is the Darth Vader model, so for weeks Malcolm was saying that when he grew up he was going to be Darth Vader. Great, my son the Dark Lord of the Sith; sure he throws the Emperor to his death in the Death Star II during Return of the Jedi, but there is a lot of havoc caused before that.
Candi
Candi is no longer at Mercator Energy; Wednesday July 18th was her last day. She is now working for Fresenius Medical Care, where she is the Executive Assistant to the National Vice President of Human Resources. I'll make no bones about it, I'm glad she is no longer at Mecator. The more I learned about how things were there I'm glad she got out. I won't post detail on the net as they can live on and get blown out of proportion, but it’s for the best that she is no longer there.
She is also teaching cake decorating at Michael's now. When I last wrote she was just taking classes, but she completed them and has started to teach them now. She does that two nights a week. If you'd like to see some of her cakes or learn more just go to ckCakes.
Trey
Since our last episode, I am working at Wal-Mart on nights and weekends. It started out as a 4 nights per week and a Saturday shift, but I've had to cut it back to two nights a week and a Saturday shift. I also finally got that promotion with Lockheed-Martin to a Level 2, and a little raise along with it. My freelance work has been pretty much non-existent as I don't really have much time to work on anything.
Just the other week I received my first warning about unexcused absences and tardiness from Wal-Mart. Apparently on my next unexcused absences I'll get a verbal warning; a written warning, D-Day; a paid shift off in-which I'm supposed to have a written plan on what I need/want to do I the future with Wal-Mart, then on a fourth one I will be fired. Also three tardies count as one absence. Well I just got another tardy because I totally misread the schedule and thought my shift last Saturday was from 1:30 - 6 pm, apparently it was from 11:30 - 6 pm, and so I missed two hours, oops.
