Clipper right after winning his American
Championship.

Clipper is our blue boy from Dawn's 2nd litter. He has a wonderful temperament - loves everyone and is not phased by anything. He has had a wonderful start to his show career - taking 2nd place in 6-9 Puppy Dog AOAC at the National, his first show. The following weekend, at his 2nd show, he took RWD at the Western Mass Sheltie Specialty show - a 5 point major. This was quickly followed with two more RWD's at the Western New York and Central New York Specialty shows, and a Best in Sweeps win.
Now 8+ years old, Clipper is enjoying his
Agility career. His first weekend out at AKC agility trials, he took 4 first
place ribbons and 4Q's - all with perfect scores. We are now competing in
the Open class and having a great time.
Clipper took a break from the show ring when he was a year old, and began
Agility Training. He took to this with great enthusiasm like everything else he
does. He next traveled to Sunny California for the ASSA National, and made the
cut in his class. Then back to the show circuit with co-owner Jean Simmonds. He
finished in June, taking 4 WD's in three quick weekends (including two
majors under Breed Judges Melanie Williams and Barbara Curry).
Clipper has sired several very promising litters. His gorgeous daughter, CH.
Dury Voe America America, finished in 4 days with 4 majors in a row on the
very competitive Florida winter circuit.
Other promising show prospects are at Crosswind Shelties and at Carmylie
Shelties.
Clipper has been admired for his
terrific balance, good leg length, beautiful neck, lean moderate head,
smooth flowing movement, and temperament. And he really stamps his
wonderful temperament on his puppies!
