I like to keep freshwater fish because it is easier and simpler than saltwater (or Marine) fish. Also, freshwater fish are a lot cheaper! This is a view of the 30 gallon freshwater tank. This tank currently is the home to neon and cardinal tetras, and several Pleco catfish:
I use a Magnum canister filter as well as a Whisper power filter. Using 2 filters I can change them on an alternate basis without disrupting the biology too much!
I also have a 55 gallon tank in my office:
The office tank is my first experience with African Cichlids. These are truly beautiful fish!
