[1125] !Death: Obit-Mrs. Margaret Ann Watters of 8 North Jefferson Street, Mount Union, passed away at her home on Sunday morning, May 1, 1955, at 10:30 o'clock. She had been in ill health for two months. The deceased was born in Mill Creek on October 8, 1872, a daughter of William and Rebecca Geissinger. She was united in marriage on October 2, 1902 to Stephen H. Watters, the ceremony being performed by the Rev. M.L. Smith of the Huntingdon Methodist church. Mr. and Mrs. Watters made their first home in Altoona where he was employed as a blacksmith for the Pennsylvania Railroad. He preceded his wife in death on April 11, 1949. For the past 13 years Mrs. Watters had been a resident of Mount Union. She is survived by two sons: Stephen Watters, a patient in the Mont Alto Sanatorium and Frederick Watters of Mount Union. She also is survived by 10 grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Melvin (Sarah) Woodward of Rockhill Furnace. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Clark funeral home in Mount Union. The Rev. W. Murray Young will officiate and interment will be made in Salem Cemetery near Shade Gap. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Tuesday. Daily News, Huntingdon, Pa., Monday, May 2, 1955
