[1402] !Obit: Mrs. Margaret Elizabeth Waters, died at her home near Burnt Cabins, Pa., Friday March 19th, 1920, aged 77 years, 5 months and 17 days. Death was due to heart disease. Mrs. Waters was the daughter of the late Thomas M. Cisney and wife, of Nossville, Pa. About fifty years ago she was married to James L. Waters of Shade Valley. To this union were born the following children - Thomas M. Waters and Mrs. Ellen Stahl of Pittsburgh; Charles, James W. and Mrs. Banks Hambright, all of Lewistown, Pa., Isaac G. of Montivista, Col., Porter and Kathryn at home. The deceased was a member of the Methodist church since childhood. She was not only a member of the church but a consistent christian lady. She has lived near Burnt Cabins, Pa. for forty years or more and was loved by all who knew her. All the days of her life whe was never herd speaking ill of anyone. When health permitted she was always found in her place at church entertaining very often the pastor, who always found a cordial welcome to her home. She was a faithful wife, a loving mother and a good neighbor. No task seemed too difficult for her in making a comfortable home for her children and friends. We trust she is at rest in the Father’s house, not made with hands eternal in the Heavens. She will be missed by all who knew her but we must be submissive to God’s will for he knows best. Rev. Evans of Fannettsburgh preached a very fitting sermon in the Pleasant Hill church. She was laid to rest in the Pleasant Hill cemetery as she had requested prior to her death. Mr. Kegeries of Fannettsburg, undertaker.Unknown newspaper, March 1920
