[28] !Death: Obit.- John Strobach, one of the oldest engineers in point of service, on the Pittsburg division of the Pennsy, died at 8.15 o'clock yesterday morning at his home, 2004 Tenth avenue, after an illness of five months, suffering from a complication of diseases. He was born in Prague, Prussia, on July 12, 1859, the son of John (deceased) and Amelia Strobach. He came to this country with his parents at the age of 7 years. He started to work for the Pennsy at the age of 15 years. He was married on January 15, 1888, in Carrolltown, to Miss Margaret Karlheim. He is survived by his mother and ten children, also by a brother, two sisters and two grandchildren. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers, the Pennsy relief and the St. Leo's Catholic church.
