Obituary of Mrs. Adam Teter-

She grew to womanhood in her mountain home, was converted and joined the

She was united in marriage to Adam Teter, January 5, 1873 in Franklin, West

In 1876 she with her husband and two small children, together with a group of
relatives and friends moved to the plains of Kansas, where they homesteaded
and joined with pioneers to develop a great state. In 1907 the famaily moved
to Higgins, Tex, where Mr. Teter died February 26, 1909. Later Grandma Teter
as she was affectionally known, returned to Kansas and afterwards lived at
Woodward, Oklahoma. The past ten years she has resided in the home of her
daughter, Mrs. Will Wolf at Marshall, where loving hands have rendered every
effort for her comfort and happiness. Being of a stock of staunch mountain
people, she possessed an outstanding virtue of hospitality, which gained her
many friends. She was an interesting character, and by the aid of a alert
memory could relate correct data of the Civil War. She lived in an age and
