!Burial: Pine Grove Presbyterian Church Cemetery
!Death: Obit.- Huntingdon Monitor 3 Apr 1902/Died at her home near Nossville Wednesday, March 26, 1902, after several weeks’ illness due to a complication of diseases and old age. Deceased was 82 years and 7 months old on the day of her death. She was a daughter of Joseph and Jane Wilson and was born in Dublin township, about two miles east of Shade Gap Aug. 26, 1819. She is the last of a family of six children, being preceded to the grave by three sisters and two brothers. She was married Sept. 20, 1855 to Wm. A. Scott. She is survived by her husband who has been lying helpless since Dec. 29, 1901, as the result of a paralytic stroke, also by the following children: Walter A., of Blairs Mills; Belle M., wife of J.A. Woods; Albert; Rachel A., wife of T.J. Parsons; Alvin W. and Elizabeth J. wife of W.R. Gilliland, all of Nossville, Pa.Deceased was laid to rest in the Pine Grove cemetery. The funeral services were conducted at the church by the pastor, Rev. W.G. Finney, who preached an appropriate sermon from the text: “Let me die the death of the righteous and let my last end be like his.” --Num. 23.10. She had been a consistent member of the Baptist church for about fifty years. She was a devoted wife, a kind mother, a good and generous neighbor, and will be greatly missed by her invalid husband, her children and neighbors; and while our hearts are heavy with sorrow we are comforted with the thought that she is enjoying that peace and rest which belongs to the children of God. She called the time of her death a happy day, as it released her from her bodily pain, and she had the blessed assurance that she was going to her heavenly home.
