Simon is the 2nd child born in Pennsylvania in 1830 and married Mary Waggoner, daughter of John Waggoner and settled in Washington twp. They had 11 children: Sarah E (Posey), Elizabeth, Mary E. (Pohlman), Louisa M., Simon E., Nancy A., Moses F., and Charles A. 8 Children are living. Buried at 4 mile house cemetery. Came to Ohio in 1847. From the History of Sandusky County, Ohio.
