Jacob, Myrtle Cunningham's ancestor, had been omitted by Ankrum [1943].
He lived on a farm next to that of his brother John near Morrison's Cove
in Blair County, PA.
Jacob and Catherine had six children born 1828 through 1842

Obituary:
Adam H. Nelson was born March 27, 1851, in Pendleton County, West Virginia,
and died at his home in Tyrone, Oklahoma, on July 5, 1923, at the age of 73
years, 3 months and 8 days. He was married to Susan A. Teter January 2, 1875,
and came to Greenwood Conty, Kansas, in 1876, and later moved to western
Kansas, and resided here a number of years. To this union were born twelve
children, six sons and six daughters, of whom eleven survive him, together
with 23 grand children and three great grand children, One daughter, Ada
Belle, passed to the great beyond at the age of two years. Those who survive
him are Arthur J. Nelson, Newton, Kansas, Solomon K. and Mrs. John Cooper of
Tryone, Oklahoma, Mrs. James A Pyle, of Tyron, John B. of Lostart, Ill., Mrs.
Frank Mangan of Garden City, Robert J. of Macksville, Kansas, Mrs. P. M.
Elliott of Putnam, Illinois, Charles E. and Walter A. of Tyrone, Oklhoma, and
Mrs. Elmer Robinson of Hooker, Oklahoma, all of whom attended the funeral,
except John B. Nelson. The funeral was held from the Christian church at
Tyrone, on July 7th and the remains were brought to Garden City and interred
in Valley View Cemetery. The mother died February 28, 1902, and Mr. Nelson
married Mrs. Carrie A. Carter on February 17, 1905.
Mr. Nelson was a member of the denomination of Friends for many years. His
death was due to a fall from a wagon, but just how it happened is not known.
He was well known to the older people of this locality and they extend their
sympathy to the relatives and friends.
