Jacob moved with his parents to Woodbury Twp., Bedford Co., PA ca 1804.
His father Alexander lived with him. He is mentioned in his father's will
probated 2 Dec 1811. In 1821, Jacob moved to Knox Co., OH. On 11 Mar
1845 he purchased 80 acres of land in Elkhart Co., Indiana. The children
in this family were identified from the administration of his estate 18
Oct 1847, 10 Apr 1848, and 1853 by Eugene Mock, who also lists the
grandchildren. The administrator, David Zook, was married to Jacob's
second cousin Nancy Mack, daughter of William and Agnes (Gantz) Mack.
