The Layout at Speedway & Houghton Rd

After the Feather River N-ginner's club at DM AFB was dissasembled the layout and club needed to re-locate. Most of the Feather River layout was never reassembled, parts of it was saved a taken to the new location. The new layout would be set up in an 'E' shape. As you can see from construction photos, the layout was mostly just a bunch of ntrak modules hooked together to form each penisula. This layout was based out of club member Jim Jones's three car garage near Speedway and Houghton Rd. The club has met there ever since 2002 and we got alot done in that time. The layout was wired for both DC and Digitrax DCC systems, but ever since Digitrax the club hardly used DC running. This layout has now been disasembled as of May 2005, the layout had to be dissasembled because Jim has moved to another Tucson location with no room for the layout. Most of it has been saved or put in storage till we find another home to put it in. Here are pictures of the layout.
