The
Great American Train Show was held at the Pima Country Fairgrounds in the Thurber
Hall on January 22nd and 23rd or 2005. This has been an annual event for some years now.
This year three other clubs joined with Tucson N-trak to put together what was the largest
N scale layout to ever be assembled in Tucson. We were joined by Carl Sowell of El Paso, and
the rest of his El Paso club, Larry and Mary of Prescott representing the Prescott Valley N-Trak
club, and Sun N Sands of Phoenix, AZ. With new club advancements such as the DCC Brain Box, Stewarts
module wiring tester and gained knowlege; the layout was very impressive and ran very well. We earned a 1st place ribbon. To see
the blueprints of this layout visit the links section. We will keep details posted for the
next Tucson Show in 2006.
