NSC San Diego - 2005
The N Scale National Convention was put together by the N Scale Collector.
The convention was about week long, August 16-21st 2005, it was located at the
Town and Country Resort/ Hotel in San Diego. The convention had many big name
vendors and manufacturers in attendance. Names like Kato, Atlas, Intermountain and
vendors such as TexNRails, Wig-Wag, BLMA, Richmond Controls and more. The
Convention also hosted a HUGE layout which was put together by SoCalN. The layout
operated in both DC and DCC operations, there were 4 different divisions or loops.
DCC power was provided and manned by Digitrax. Over all the layout had about a 1000 foot length and it took about 25-35 minutes to run a train around at prototypical speeds.
Tucson Ntrak put 48ft of our modules in the show, we were located in the Mt. Line Divison.
The Next N Scale Convention will be at Denver, CO in the summer of 2006. We will keep details
