Gadsden Pacific Division

On Saturday January 20th, 2007 we set-up at the Winter Train show at the Rodeway Inn, this is a bi- yearly event put on by the Gadsden Pacific Division. These are the same guys who run the local train museum. We set-up an L shaped layout, this would give us better use of space and it ended up providing alot more spectator space. The layout was all provided by Stuart and worked really good. We got good comments and very pleased on lookers. The show ran from 9am-3pm only saturday.

On June 3rd, 2006 we were invited to the bi- yearly train meet that is put on at the Rodeway Inn event center. The show is run by the Gadsden Pacific Division who run the O Gauge museum in Tucson. This is the summer time show. Runs 9am-3pm only on Saturday.

On January 21st, 2006 we were invited to the bi- yearly train meet that is put on at the Rodeway Inn event center. The show is run by the Gadsden Pacific Division who run the O Gauge museum in Tucson. We put together a small Ntrak set up with Stuart's loops (which had improved track work). This set up also had the bridge module in it as well. These were saved from the old layout and used on a module. The black bridge was used for the nN3 narrow gauge on the 620 Lazy J layout but it has been converted for regular N gauge use. Size was about 2 by 12 feet. It was a very easy set up, just to make a presence and display some of Tucson Ntrak. The show was only on Saturday from 9 to 3pm.

Ironically, everything was working perfectly, why the grins?

Weekend at Jim's

On the weekend of Dec 2nd & 3rd, 2006 we set up for the weekend at Jim's Garage (a club member). This gave us a chance to run trains, fix trains and talk about trains. We also got more work done testing each modules. It was a private setup, but a couple of neighborhood kids stopped by to see it run.

Jims Garage

Another weekend at Jims, February 10 & 11, 2007. We did alot of work on saturday, putting powerpoles together and we also finished wiring the yard, which is yet to be finished. But a good weekend indeed.

ASDB School Event

On the weekdays of Thursday and Friday January 25 & 26th, 2007 a few club members set up a small event at the Arizona School for the Deaf & Blind. Stuart provided all the modules for the show and the final layout ended up being a slightly expanded version of the GPD Show we did the prior week. The show went well, and likewise the kids enjoyed every minute of it regardless of there disability. It was conducted on the weekdays to coincide with the school times. Here is stitched picture of the layout.
