Learn motorcycle safety from the Geezer. Mostly, I do the MSF classes by the book, but sometimes there is confusion about what "book" I'm using. Have fun, learn about motorcycling, play on the State of Minnesota's motorcycles for a pittance ($160 for the BRC and $55 for the ERC) in a controlled, safe environment. How can you beat that deal? All of this year's schedule will be at Century College in White Bear, Minnesota.

The MSF BRC (Basic Rider Course) is divided into two parts, classroom (5 hours) and range (2, 5 hour range days). In the BRC, you ride the state's motorcycles (125-250cc street and dual purpose motorcycles). At the end of the BRC, you take the state's motorcycle license test and, if you pass, you have earned a license. You'll also save some money on motorcycle insurance. The BRC II (used to be called the ERC or Experienced Rider Course) is one 5 hour range, riding your own motorcycle on a range very similar to the BRC range with some added exercises.
