Good morning all. Well the surgery is next Tuesday, and as of today
I started two different drops four times per day. One is an
antibiotic, I don't know what the other one is. I can't read the
label. The nurse turned over the directions and wrote in large
print. "Beginning Saturday, Grey cap: one drop four times per day.
Tan cap: one drop four times per day." She made sure I was able to
read the paper before she sent me home.
I am having a
terrible time with the new chemo. It makes me sick as a dog. For
several days afterwards I am unable to eat much solid food. They
gave me a bunch of Boost protein drinks, and also some Boost Fruit
drinks. I don't know what I'd have done without them. I am now able
to eat something again. I began to be able to eat something on
Tuesday, did a little better on Wednesday, even better on Thursday,
and ate three square meals yesterdy. Apparently it takes a week to
get it out of my system. At least I only have to have it every 21
days. That gives me two weeks of feeling better before I have to go
through it all over again. Take care all.
