Good morning all. I'm feeling better since I've started cleaning
the Chemo out of my system. My urine still smells of chemicals, but
it's getting less so. I drink large quantities of water to continue
flushing my kidneys.
My sister Edie is flying up from South
Carolina on Tuesday to visit for two weeks. I haven't seen her in
over five years. It will be great to be able to get out and see some
people for a change. We are planning on visiting a number of people
I haven't seen in years. This includes my lone surviving aunt on my
father's side. She is in her eighties and had a stroke many years
ago. She lives in an assisted living home.
My brother got my
closet fixed, and is planning on taking me fishing before too much
longer. Fishing season opens on Monday. Because I'm blind I can get
a free fishing license. I just have to take my official announcement
of blindness from the state to town hall and request one. I haven't
been fishing in many years. It used to be one of my favorite
pastimes when I was a kid. I hate to tell you how many strings of
fish I came home with over the years. Of course I had to clean them
before I gave them to my mother.
Take care all and keep the
prayers coming. I still expect to beat this thing.
