Just checking in. Not much happening at the moment. It's been too
hot to do much. I still don't have air conditioning. I have had all
four fans running 24 hours for the last few days, but it has finally
cooled off a bit.
I had hoped to go to my brother's for the
fourth, he has air conditioning, and is an excellent cook. I was
looking forward to some real food. It didn't work out, but I ate
good anyway. I'm getting some strength and appetite back. Dinner
last night was two slices of ham, and an ear of corn along with half
an apple. Before I went to bed I ate a dozen or so black cherries.
It all tasted good.
This morning's breakfast was a bowl of
Total Raisin Bran with blueberries, a cup of coffee and a glass of
juice. that was followed by a can of Boost. I don't know what lunch
will be yet. I am getting quite a grocery list ready for tomorrow's
shopping. Take care all and have a great weekend.

No air conditioning? How come, is it broken or just that where you
live doesn't have any?????? That's not good, you need to be
comfortable. Anything I can do like get on the phone with someone
and raise some sand? (I'm good at getting people to jump with
something like this).
Just let me know ok? Glad you are
eating good and that your appetite is getting better, that's a good
thing like Martha says. You just take care of you and if there's

might have already had it but I want to make sure, I usually don't
