Checking in. Thought I'd bring you girls up to speed on what's been
going on. For weeks now I have had no appetite. Saturday I was in
considerable pain, so I took a pain pill and went in to lie down on
the bed. I fell asleep and dreamed. I was at an outdoor Farmer's
Market. There were stands of fresh produce everywhere. I passed
several stands of Iceburg lettuce, which I don't like, and finally
found one with Buttercrunch lettuce. I bought a head and ate a leaf.
I traveled on to the next stand and bought some large slicing
tomatoes. Next I bought cucumbers, celery, and carrots. I got some
yams and baking potatoes. I kept tasting bits and pieces of produce.
I had both arms full of packages, and when I awoke I was holding
both arms about me. I was starving hungry. I ate half a can of
Progresso Minestrone soup and some cream cheese on crackers,
followed by half an apple and some cherries.
I ate a good
breakfast the next morning. For lunch I prepared a baked potato with
blue cheese dressing and bacon bits as well as lots of butter. I ate
the whole thing. I was still hungry. I ate a peach. I had some
Muenster cheese. Finally I ate some cherries. I have been eating
ever since.
Something miraculous happened during that nap.
Just thought you ladies might like to know about it. Take care and

anyway...I am glad you are eating again. I believe your dream was

Briar, that's great news! You just keep up with your appetite and
stuff, and yes, that is unusual. I am so happy to hear that you are
eating better now because you need that strength. Heck pig out!!!!
LOL. How many of us would I say that too????
Keep enjoying
the little things too and know we are here for you. That something
happened during that nap, yep it did.
You've always said you
are not just gonna lay down and let things lick you. And you are
showing that is true.
