Good morning ladies. I've been desperately sick since last Thursday
night. I can't hold anything solid down. I am suffering from some
kind of stomach virus. I am feeling a little better this morning, so
I am eating cream of rice with a glass of juice and a cup of coffee.
Hopefully I will be able to keep that down. Diarrhea doesn't help
either. I have been living on liquids like Boost and Instant
Breakfast as well as juices. The visiting nurse will be here today.
I hope she can think of something to help.

I sure hope you girls have a better week.

I'm so sorry to hear that Briar, and I hope you can keep your
strength up with the liquid foods. Hopefully the nurse will be able
to come up with a good intervention so you can get going back on
solid food and feel stronger.

Hi Briar! This is my first time here. I just came in to see what
was up, who was chatting. I wish I would have done so before. I
would have loved to add my good wishes for you Briar a lot earlier

Good morning all. I started to eat just a little night before last.
It was mostly chicken broth with a few noodles. Yesterday I had
scrambled eggs, and later sent my aide to the store to pick up a few
groceries. When she returned, she cooked up a big pot of chicken
soup with veggies. That tasted awful good to me. I ate mostly broth
again, but did eat a few veggies and a small amount of chicken. I
had fruit jello and a few other small things for
supper.
Today I just started my day with a small bowl of
Cheerios and blueberries. It tastes good, and so far nothing has
come back up for two days now. I'm still having the cramping, but
I'd say that I was on the mend. Take care all and have a great
weekend.
