I loved the fact that Xena and Gabrielle "appeared" to finally be
equals in the fighting/strategy sense.
Them whipping through
the air together to put out the fire was awesome.
Everything
else - I pretty much hated.
I hated Aikimi - I thought she was
incredibly manipulative and I just dreaded where this was all going
(at the time I didn't know but had a really, really bad
feeling.)

I loved that ep! Although I hated seeing Xena die, I loved how the
characters kissed...their relationship was probably defined as best
as it ever has been.

It was an ok episode.
I would have given it a higher rating but
that whole indecisive Xena asking Gabrielle what she would do seemed
a little out of place. And the ladder swinging over to the water
tower felt too much like the Many Happy Returns fight at the end,
more of a show off sequence for the special effects team than a
needed part of the episode.

I thought this episode was ok but didn't like where it was leading.
I really don't like the fact that they killed her but it was still a
good story.
