Re: Many Happy

I LOVED IT!! I'm a sucker for the playfulness and they were full of
it on this ep. You could tell the two stars were enjoying themselves
and in their playfulness you could see the love. I swear I think
they were beaming. The comedy was hilarious and the ending was
priceless.

I loved this ep myself Red.
I think they were beaming too. You could definetely see
the love there. I think partly cuz LL and Roc knew it was the final
countdown....it was almost over so cherish the moments left.

I love episodes like this also, the playfullness, and everybody
including Alex looked like they were having a ball.
Sniff,
this is Dite's final appearance, just imagine she begun on Hercules,
and when Lucy had her accident, they did "For Him The Bell Tolls"
our first Dite appearance, and she's been a joy ever since.

I agree WQ,
she's was quite a character. I loved it when she was on, whether it
was the Xena or Hercules show. BTW, didn't she look different, much
thiner and the hair was different too.

Re: Many Happy
Returns
I loved it, it was cute, funny, and it had me smiling from
beginning to end.
What a little gem this one turned out to
be, I didn`t have high expectations when I heard that MHR, a comedy
was replacing the Sappho episode, but I`m really happy to say that
this one turned out far better than expected.
While it didn`t
blow me away like last weeks WFC (see my comments on WFC to see what
I mean) but then it wasn`t meant to.
It was a lighthearted,
fun, romantic comedy, in the A Day in the Life style, and it worked
perfectly, how great it was to see the girls having fun together
again, something that we haven`t seen that much of in recent
seasons, and once again LL and ROC shine in this one.
And the
ending, can anyone deny that "love is in the air" I loved the way
LL played Xena when she was giving Gabrielle the romantic Sappho
love poem at the end, the shy, vulnerable look on her face was just
way beyond cute and certainly made crystal clear the depth of her
feeling for her lovely bard, that girl`s got it bad.

I noticed how thin she was also Redhead, that's the first thing out
of my mouth, I don't know what it is, with these actor's and
actress' with the thin look the past year or so, CrazyCatLady has
some recent photo's of Smithy and he's lost alot of weight also, and
I don't like it either
GA the
end scene with the poem was beautiful, and I liked watching the 2 of
them fly off together into the sunset.

Re: Many Happy

Well this past season has certainly in my mind at least settled the
subtext issue. There is no doubt in my mind that they are lovers. I
was on the fence so to speak for the longest time. This ep was great
and the ending was just about the best I've seen in a long time. I
think that both LL and ROC looked comfortable with it too.

Re: Many Happy

I just have to add, that this ep also made me realize how much I
will miss this show. It's just like when Knots Landing went off the
air. My friend and I were the biggest fans, and he has yet to get
over it, I think I might be the same way about this show. I just
know I am going to need a big box of tissues no matter how good or
bad the last ep is.

I voted good. I laughed yes, but I thought that they tried too hard
to make it like "A Day In The Life." The eels, the guessing game,
the bathing. Still, it was a good ep.

I loved it 'cuz it was easy going, and fun to watch for a
change. No evil demons ripping people open, no "dark" forces
going on just good old stupid slapstick!

Re: Many Happy

Can I do an inbetween of I really liked it. I always enjoy when
X&G are so playful with each other and I will have to say the
ending and the expressions of shyness and love on Xena's face when
she gave Gabrielle the Sappho poem gave me the warm fuzzies. I do
think it should've ended there with the hug. The jumping off and
flying kinda made me think tptb didn't want the last thing on fans
minds to be the love between the two. So add something a little
wacky.

Re: Many Happy

I loved the playfulness, the teasing, the naughty statements
(especially about the fish), but most of all the love! Especially
the look on Xena's face in the end.
Oh, and the flying part
at the end! It was just like Superman and Lois Lane, only better

Re: Many Happy

The ending was .. so touching. LL's glances to ROC.. so cute!!! I
agree, Red, they were beaming! I mean.. are they really acting or is
it real? that is what I thought.. they seem so comfortable with each
other. It's funny in other eps ie: HOD..ROC looks so uncomfortable
in her "love" scenes with Virgil.. it seems so awkward but in ANY
love scene with LL .. they are both so real and relaxed.. it's so
cool.

Re: Many Happy
Returns
Just watched this episode here in the Uk and I have to say I agree
with everything that has been posted here.It made me smile through
the whole episode it was pure fluff and I loved every minute. They
had the ususal fight scenes and how long has it been since Gabrielle
was held hostage with a knife at her throat, classic early Xena. The
whole episode was played out, in my opinion ,that there was no doubt
that Xena and Gabrielle are a 'couple'.Lucy and Renee are so at ease
with one another and for me most of the time when not fighting I
just saw Lucy and Renee shinning through their characters and having
a fun time laughing, playing and enjoying themselves knowing that it
was all coming to an end and that the final episodes would be more
heart wrenching.Definately one to watch if you are feeling down
about the ending of Xena.
