news that Andromeda is getting some recognition.

Believe
it or not, it's that once again for the SyFy Genre Awards!! For
the third straight year, SyFy World is allowing you, our
visitors, to choose your favorites of the past 12 months in
the world of science fiction. Between March 15 and April 15,
you can make your votes in more than a dozen categories
honoring some of the best actors, actresses, shows, movies
and more from the genre that we all love! Earth: Final
Conflict leads this year's nominations with 8. Following
close behind are Star Trek: Voyager with 7 nominations, The
X- Files with 5 and Farscape and Gene Roddenberry's Andromda
with 4 each. Other shows receiving nominations include Buffy the
Vampire Slayer (3), Angel (2) and Roswell (2). This year's
nominated movies include The X-Men, Unbreakable and Titan,
A.E. To see last year's winners, click here! The following are
the complete list of nominees! Don't forget to stop back
once a day beginning March 15 to place your vote!! SyFy World
allows one vote per email address per day, so let your
friends know, and don't make yourself a

Gee whiz, why'd they have to put
both Shatner and Nimoy in the same category. But anyway, thanks for
the heads up, I've bookmarked it and will go back to vote for my
favorites. That's a cool site too.

Glad to see the show getting
recognition, and Alexa Doig certainly merits her nomination.
