ROC Wedding
I'm curious to know why there has
not been any pictures or articles on Renee's wedding. Except for
Mary D's announcement, I've never heard another word about it.
Anyone have any info?

I'm guessing to preserve the privacy
of ROC and her husband. A wedding day is a special day, and there's
no reason that the public has to be involved.

Yeah. I believe Reneé likes to keep
her private life private, which is certainly understandable. There
were most probably no news folks present at her wedding, which is
why nobody did any reports on it.
I wish Reneé would reveal
a bit about her wedding to her fans.. she is starving us for
information. 
And
of course, I'm dying to see a picture of her in her wedding dress.

Renee and Steve were married at the
Sweethome Missionary Baptist Church in the historic area of
Clarksville, in Austin, Texas. Their reception was held at the
Stephen F.Austin Hotel in downtown Austin. Other than the death
threats that Lucy received to get her to hire some of the Austin
police as bodyguards... there have been no announcements other than
before and after the wedding in the Austin Statesman. I';m with you
all, sure would like to see the dress!

Maybe she,ll share some pictures
later on.She seems to shy away from the spotlight ALOT more than
Lucy! Lucys out and about alot.Doing the talk show circuit etc.I
must say,I,ve never seen Renee other than on Xena..

This is from Sharon Delaney at the
Official Xena Fan Club
I just received a packet of wedding
photos from Renee to put in the next fan club newsletter. She didn't
release any publicly and wishes only to share them with the fans.
She and Steve also included a note they wanted me to pass along to
everyone who wished them well on this truly happy
occasion:
"Hello everyone! It's about time we dropped a note thanking "all
ya'll" for the generosity you showed when we were married. The
letters of congratulations were greatly appreciated. Also, raising
money for charity was the perfect way to show your good wishes for
us. We were
truly amazed and humbled by such a force of
benevolence. We had a wonderful wedding day, surounded by our
families, and we hope to take a long, relaxing honeymoon sometime
this year. Thanks for showing that again, the Xena fans ROCK!

The photos will be
in newsletter #14 which is being approved now.

SaisII I have #4 and it is great.
now I am just waiting for the new newzletter. The video of the
working is priceless, Sharon D. did a terrific job on it and the
bloopers are hilarious. ENJOY
