SPOILERS: which season?
Put the seasons in order of how much subtext is in them? and which
ep/s convey it the most in each season?
By what I have read and
seen, here are mine:
1. Season 6 - When fates collide as
again, even in different life times they have a unique bond, that
binds them together 4eva!
2. Season 3 - One against an army -
It was sad, touching, emotional. The looks they shared were simply
amazing.
3. Season 2 - A day in the life because of hot tub
scene and the cute scene at the end where Gab gives her a peck on
the cheek... also the playfulness throughout the ep was fun to
watch.
4. Season 4 - A family affair as the reunion was very
emotional as well as sweet and reassuring to Xena that Gab really
was Gab and not hope. They were finally reunited aftre all of what
Xena went through to get her back in adventures of sin
trade1&2
5. Season 5 - Fallen Angel because of the way
xena risked spending eternity in hell for Gabrielle and lines such
as:
Xena: Gabrielle, the love that we have, it's-it's stronger
than Heaven or Hell. It transcends good or evil. It's an end in
itself! Our souls are destined to be together.
6. Season 1 -
Is there a doctor in the house? as the scene at the end done it for
me.. I was even in tears. Xenas performance was out of
character-breaking down like that, which proved very much to us how
much Gab means to her and how she werent even prepared to lose her
then.
So there you have it...
