What was Lucy's
absolutely best acting performance on XWP?
In which scene or ep did Lucy show her absolutely best acting
performance?
I really can't decide at the moment as she is
such a great actress. I have to think about that myself...

I canīt tell u the best acting performing. I love her
acting if she does the funny ones and if she brought me to cry. Itīs
not easy to find the best one. If I find an episode I will tell u
this. But now????????
Canīt stop watching Xena. I miss
them.

March", "The Debts", and "When Fates Collide".

There is to many to choose from but I'd say One Against an Army. In that ep she performed everything
from comedy to tear jerking drama to gleeful warrior action.

Gee......that IS a tough one!
There are so many scenes that
come to mind that it really makes it hard to pick just one. I saw
Warrior....Princess...Tramp yesterday for the first time....and I
was really impressed at how well Lucy not only played 3 completely
different characters in the same episode, but she also had to play
those characters pretending to be the other characters.........does
that make sense? LOL
Anyway.....I'll just say that so far in
just about every episode.....there was something that she did that
made me sit back and say "wow".....

For me, it's so hard to think of any one performance as being the
best, because there are so many individual moments that come to mind
- a look here, a glance there, a voice breaking, a soul aching -
that make up the sum of what I loved about the show, and LL's
performances, in particular. So it's those 'moments,' that make the
'magic' for me, like:
The "hand clasp" in OAAA
Xena
finding Solon dead in MI
Xena in the 'fade-out' scene as she
desperately, hopelessly trying to comfort Gabrielle after she's lost
her blood innocence and been abused by Dahok
The last 15
minutes of IOM and WFC
The look on Xena's face in MHR as
Gabby reads the Sappho poem
ITADITH - yes, the whole
recussiation scene is amazing, but that little moment of indecision
that flits across Xena's face, when they've almost convinced her to
"let Gabrielle go" - you can see her doubting herself, and then
deciding to press on, to fight, to not give up. All in an expression
or two. Astounding.
And there are so many
more.

I really have to agree with RED on this one. One Against an Army
was the best performance by both LL and ROC. Amazing action and deep
subtextual thrill. LUCY ROC'd in OAAA.

delivery blew me away with this one.

Lucy has given so many good performances that it is hard
to narrow it down to one, as has ROC.

Hey, ss.....don't know if the quote was a clue but one scene that
LL and ROC did that always gets to me was the one in the cave in THE
ABYSS...when Gabrielle hallucinates thinking Xena was Hope and
wanting Hope to stay clear of Xener. Ahhh! [sniff]

Well I think there are too many great and amazing acting moments
from both Lucy and ROC to single one out as the best. However the
recussiation scene in "Is There a Doctor in the House" certainly is
one that immediatly stands out as one of Lucy`s most memorable
scenes.

As I have not
seen the 2nd part of S6, I can't name an ep of that yet. But as I
downloaded the poem scene from MHR, I can say that Lucy was
absolutely fantastic in that last scene.
It is really hard to
choose, as Lucy always did a great job! Thanks Lucy!

For me it would have to be
Is There A Doctor In The
House!!!
That scene was one of LL's shining
moments!!
It was 'raw' and very powerful............I still
tear up when she
is crying and screaming for Gabrielle to "Wake
up and breathe"......."Don't leave me!! Don't leave me"
Gods she
was so vulnerable and desperate for her friend to come back to
her.
A very memorable scene for me.

There are many episodes, I can't pick just one.. but
The Gauntlet is one where Lucy does a good job at
mixing emotions. She has control over her army then loses control,
walks through the gauntlet. Her power is challenged by Darphus. Her
act of compassion over killing the baby.

All the ones mentioned so far are definitely winners but I think
the best for me was the last 15 minutes of IOM. The look on Xena's
face when she was hit by the chakram and then through the fall and
the looks she had in the jailcell scene. What she can say with just
a look is amazing.

The sad look Xena gave Borias in Past
Imperfect as she rode off on the wagon
with their child. It was a brief scene, but you could tell in their
eyes at that moment that Borias and Xena knew they would never see
each other again or have the hope of family and love.
I also
liked the first part of AITST,P1 when
she was on her quest to find Gabrielle in the Amazon spirit world:
demanding answers from Hades, hunting the Elke, hearing Gabrielle's
voice, exploring her shamaness training, and her grief and crying
over the loss of Gabrielle. Very moving
performance.

Wow! Such good memories of a great show!
I liked ITADITH,
and Lucy herself said that the resuscitation scene really stood out
in her memory, saying that she "left it all out there."
I
also liked AITST, but I think her very best work was the funny
stuff. She was great in The Furies, and absolutely hilarious in
FF&G, ADITL and W...P...T.
