WORLD: The world is at peace. Humanity has at long last put aside it's differences and looks toward a bright and promising future as they reach toward the stars for their destiny. Space is the new Frontier to be explored, Already, through the collaberative efforts of the United Nations, incredible progress has been made toward the construction of the first semi-perminant Space Colony - the Europa.
HEALTH: Healthcare is at a record high now that it is mandatory for every country to provide adequete coverage for all of it's citizens. There are fewer epidemics and such viruses as AIDs and Smallpox are now well contained. Though there is no perminant cure for them - yet - the most recent treatments that have been developed are proving most effective in prolinging human life expectancy and supressing the degredating symptoms.
SOCIAL: The differences that once greatly seperated "the haves" from "the have nots" has been markedly decreased with the added help of LifeDrive -an organization dedicated to the improvment of living arrangements for all. With longer life expectancies well into the 100s, people are venturing into new avenues of critical thinking, phylosophy and theology.
RELIGION: The ressurgance of Confusism as a Religion is a well known phenomena, though Christianity is still climbing the polls toward the number one slot -Watch out Buddha!
ENVIRONMENT: After the Environmental Act of 2007, all industrial devices, including factories, vehicles, recreational passtimes (everything!) must meet a certain level of safety. If the pollutants they expell outweigh that which they give BACK to the environment, they are banned.
SCIENCE: After the Environmental Act of 2007, the scientific field has had a total overhaul. In the past 2 decades there have been grat advancments in Cybernetics and nanotechnology as well as genetic manipulation and general enhancement of the human genome itself.
PHENOMENA: Many people are beginning to bear witness to strange happeneings around the globe. Whether from the contentment or delusion, it is uncertain, but more and more people are claiming to have seen Angels, Demons, Werewolves and strange "flaming humans" that are only spoken of in legends and folklore.
