I hope you all had a safe and happy Thanksgiving. Christmas is just about three weeks away and our club Christmas Dinner and Party is this Saturday December 3rd at the Karnes Youth Center at 6:00 PM. We will need some volunteers about 5:00 PM to help set up tables, chairs and Christmas decorations. Just bring your favorite dish. The club will furnish drinks, plates, spoons, forks, napkins etc. We will also be doing gift bags for Mobil Meals.
The club has been giving permission to have our annual show across the highway from the Museum of Appalachia on June 22nd & 23rd. We are going to get started shortly after the first of the year at making plans and getting the show dates out.
I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. See you at the party.

I hope you had a good Thanksgiving. I know I did. It was very good and the food and company were great.
I hope to see everyone at the Christmas dinner on Saturday. I would like to thank Kathy Day for picking up the bags for the meals on wheels. We'll be getting them ready after the Christmas dinner. I look forward to the good food.

I hope you are enjoying this nice fall weather. This Saturday is Ag Day at UT and they would like for us to have some displays there, maybe 6 or 7 tractors, and you would need to be there no later than 2:00 PM.
It is only about a month until the election of club officers so please take an interest. Please remember Mr. & Mrs. McNabb in your prayers. At last check he had some improvement. See you at the next meeting.

I would like to thank those who brought their tractors, engines, and other displays to the Fair and explaining to the fair goers how they ran and what they did. I am sorry to say I did not make it to the annual dinner but I heard that there was a lot of good food. Thanks to all who participated.
The Union County Heritage Festival is this Saturday October 1st. You are invited to come and if you have tractors and engines you are welcome to bring them or just enjoy the festival.
The Fall Homecoming at the Museum of Appalachia starts Thursday October 6th. Elaine and Jane have asked that we do not bring our displays before Monday October 3rd because they are having weddings that weekend. I will pick up the name badges this week and will have them at the club meeting on Tuesday and after that David Walker will have the remaining badges on Wednesday at the Museum. Please set up your displays close to where you did last year and you should be fine.
See you at the next meeting.
