Dark
Hollow helped blaze a trail for the recent bluegrass revival
in
San Francisco, performing traditional favorites and original
songs
for more than seven years in the city’s trendy Mission District.
Each band member has between fifteen and thirty-five years of
experience playing bluegrass, and together they can really make
an audience feel the bluegrass spirit.
Dark Hollow released its debut CD, Thrilling Stories, in 2001.
That recording represents the broad spectrum of their sound, from
hard-driving bluegrass tunes to sweet melodies and tight harmonies.
