Stan Miller Mandolins Stan Miller's Third
mandolin was made using Brazilian rosewood back, sides and neck with
an Engelmann spruce top. Stan remembers struggling to bend the yellow
cedar binding for this mandolin. He's not sure why he felt compelled
to use wood instead of celluloid binding, just the aesthetics of it
all he supposes. The cedar binding looks great, the Brazilian rosewood
is beautiful and the sound is incredible. Owned and photographed by
Alan Bond.
