Bill Monroe's Presentation Mandolin: This Mandolin was given to Bill Monroe, by the Grand Ole Opry for his 50th Anniversary of being on the Opry. The headstock is decorated with a shaped head of Bill Monroe, and the back has decorative inlaid designs, the body has inlaid designs with various song titles. The Mandolin was made by Barnes and Lamb Violin.

Bill Monroe's Gibson "Style A" Mandolin: Serial Number 30020 was manufactured in Kalamazoo, Michigan. There is a paper sign in it that reads, "The Mandolin's on Display are from Bill Monroe's Personal Collection." The sign is hand written in ballpoint pen and there is no strap. This Mandolin was in the Bluegrass Hall of Fame Museum for 15 years.
