About Us

Ted & Donna

We have lived in Valparaiso, Indiana since 1973. We had 2 daughters, Karen and Catherine. Karen was born with Cystic Fibrosis. On March 24, 1997, Karen succumbed to her disease. We are now raising one of her two children. (Stanley)  We have been kept busy with a 11 year-old in the house.  After Karen died, we also took in her ward Brian Ulanowicz. Even though Brian felt that he would be more happy being with his immediate family in 2001, we are still proud of his accomplishments.

• We have had many and varied interests over the years. Currently we spend as much time at our camper as possible, and we probably spend too much time on the computer.
  
• We have 5 grandchildren. Stanley and Tristan From Karen, and Christopher and John  and Eric from Cathy. They are the light of our lives.
  
• Donna is a homemaker and is kept busy with Stanley.
  
• I work at a major steel mill as a millwright. Hopefully, in another 5 years I can retire.
  

We enjoy traveling around the United States. We have been to the majority of the continental United States and maybe we will see the rest of them in our lifetimes.

Donna enjoys playing online games, especially backgammon, and has many friends she has met on the computer.

Stanley is a bundle of energy and growing in leaps and bounds.

I have been interested in genealogy and have made some progress, but with the children, it is hard to pursue very vigorously.
