The earliest record of a Batchelor ancestor from Wiltshire, England is 1689/90 with the baptism of John Batchelor son of John Batchelor and Susan, Giving a proximate age of 20 years to John Batchelor and wife Susan bringing the Batchelor name further back to approximately 1669/70.
