Dance & Gymnastics Combo Classes

These classes are not in the annual UMDGC dance recital. The perfect introduction to both dance and gymnastics.  After a short warm-up, the class will split time in the gym and studio.  When in the gym, participants will try most of the equipment, including the trampolines. 

• Creative Dance & Gymnastics: An intro to ballet and gymnastics.  Focuses on creative movement and gross motor skills.   When in the gym, participants will try most of the equipment, including the trampolines.  Ballet shoes with leather soles or bare feet required.
• Tumble Taps: An introduction to tap and gymnastics.  Participants will learn stomps, shuffles, and heel and toe stamps as well as how to keep a rhythm with tambourines and rhythm sticks.  When in the gym, participants will try most of the equipment, including the trampolines.  Tap shoes are required for this class. Shoes can be rented or purchased from UMDGC.  Shoe Rental $15 per session.
