Boardman River Topography

Boardman River Kayaking A to Z

Actually in this view it's Z to A. This is the end of the river for most folks. To get started scroll all the way to the right to get to Forks, the first put in spot on the river. Or you can start here and work backwards.

Or you can use the patented Uncle Spongehead remote control to get up and down the river with the click of the button. It's always in the lower right corner.

Listening to the River

My good friend Eie (like Eye) has been involved with the Listening to the River project. Here's some video from their website that shows the mystery swan Eie captured during Spring Break 2007.

They use Google Maps to document the location of the pictures, sounds, and video they capture. So how do they do it you ask. Well, in addition to the perseverance to go out in an early April storm to capture the events, they had some really cool toys. GPS to document each location, a sound recording system with some very cool microphones, digital photo and video. And then a pretty neat web development platform that allows them to publish their experiences.

The Showcase page documents each trip, so there will always be new content to look at. My favorite of the Spring Break 2007 trip was Ben and Jacob's production of Chickadees. Keep up the good work everybody, I'm looking forward to seeing the next trip.
