Third month in a row I'm late on this. That sucks.
In any event, the time has come to officially announce the
alt.usenet.kook awards for the month of April, 1999.
The Looney Maroon Award is given based on the amount of childish,
nonsensical, funny and downright stupid behavior exhibited over a
particular month. It is not meant to award the greatest overall Kook
for that time, but is meant as a recognition of outstandingly pathetic
performance by an individual or group, real or anonymous, animate
or robotic.
The Kook of the Month is, well, precisely that, no more, no less.
Sorry I don't have time to say exactly who voted for whom though
if it's heavily demanded I would make a recount.
Remember, these are just all humble opinions, not any expert diagnosis
of dimentia idiotica. I think.
