Paranormal Ghost Research Indiana

Public Investigations

We will be adding more investigations very soon.
With lots of new pictures to format and case studies to write up.

Sept 15, 2007 - PGR-IN - Edna Collins Bridge Investigation

Approx. 10:30PM, Paranormal Ghost Research Indiana went to Edna Collins Bridge to investigate the claims of possible a residual/intelligent haunting. The investigation lasted only about an hour or so, when other groups began to arrive to take part in their own investigations of the bridge.

The Edna Collins Bridge, built in 1922, has been a popular local
haunting in Putnam Coutny, Indiana. Just outside Clinton Falls, west of Greencastle.

During the course of the investigation, we recieved no EVPs, No video anomolies (even tested with the myth of the haunting), and no picture anomolies, minus this one we have posted.

In this picture, there was no there besides us. No one as smoking or breathing (holding our breaths before pictures were taken) Unexpectedly, we met up with some other groups, that began their own investigation. After talking with them for a while and making new contacts in the paranormal field, we left to review the evidence. We do plan a return trip when we can spend more time on the bridge and gather a lot more data to possibly find the "ghost" of the Edna Collins Bridge. We willl continue to update this post as we get more evidence. We also made sure to spread the word about our group but even more groups in the area that they were unaware of, as well making sure to include the IPI support group for other questions they may have or that could arise during the course of their investigations. Mostly new to the field, I expect to start hearing more about and from them in the near future.

Nov 19, 2006 - PGR-IN - Danville Ellis Park Investigation

In Danville, Indiana's Ellis Park there stood what was once a train bridge that has now become only a remenant of a support. In the late 1950's, the bridge was taken down as the interurban railway no longer ran into Indianapolis. Since then the support structure had become a favorite amoung the teens and amatuer climbers as a hangout and climbing spot.

In Mar. of 2004, a young teenage girl on a hike with a friend fell off the abutment to her death. Since then, the park has taken steps to keep people off the structure; however there have been many reports of warm happy feelings, and strange sightings of what appear to be a girl matching the description of Laura (the teenager who died).

We decided to do a daytime investigation of the place on Sun. 11/19/06, as PGR-IN is located on seconds from the park, has friends and family who knew Laura personally, and to see if there was any truth to the rumors of paranormal activity. It was mildly chilly that day, and overcast a bit, but not enough to stop us from getting in a good, albiet quick, investigation. Nothing unusual seemed to occur as we took photos, video, and audio recordings. In total, the investigation lasted only about an hour before the wind picked, stirring up debri and dropping the temperature below mildly cold. Back at the PGR-IN office, we began to review the evidence we had collected. We noted nothing out of the ordinary in our experiences except that near the end of the investigation we felt the warm spot that had been reported by several people and that at one point our equipment had lost almost all its battery power. Near the end of the review as we synced the audio and video, we found only one thing we couldnt explain. We were preparing to leave the site and wrapping up the investigation on both audio and video recordings. The video (which has audio as well), captured nothing unusual, however on the audio recorder right as we are just about to finish and turn the recorder off, recorded an EVP of a young girl saying "hello". After testing the EVP with a couple of audio tests, it was found to be very soft and low, and not like the rest of the audio in the recording. In short, our conclusion was that we could not definatively say it was haunted, but we did have some personal experiences and captured one EVP. All in all, a good investigation, and maybe enough evidence to convince us to revisit the park and try again as the anniversary of the Laura's death draws near. We will post that EVP soon for others to listen to it.

UPDATE: We have had several people listen to the EVP that were close with Laura to see what they thought. 11 out of the 15 people said it sounded like her voice, 2 were unsure, and 2 said that they would not comment.
