Rules |
|
- Dogs must be tied to sled when running and entire team must finish together. No stray dogs. |
|
- Rest stops must be at least 20 minutes. |
|
- Teams must follow the course. No shortcuts. |
|
- Obeying traffic laws is up to the individual teams |
|
- You may rotate dogs & mushers during the race. |
|
- Barking is encouraged. |
|
- There is no drink minimum, but it is the musher's responsibility to ensure the dogs are well watered. |
|
- This event will be held rain or shine. |
|
- Dogs may run free in the rest areas. |
|
- Dogs must pull the cart dog sled style. |
|
- Teams are responsible for their own cart and hitching systems. |
|

Après Ski Party |
|
Immediately following the event the Grand Café will be hosting a free Après Ski party with food, karaoke, DJ, dancing and fun. |

There is no cost for the Urban Iditarod. Participants should bring $20 to cover the cost to rehydrate at each rest stop. |
