The Accompanists
Timothy
Brown performs frequently throughout the area as a soloist, accompanist and
chamber musician. Recent performances include programs devoted to the music of
such composers as Grieg, Mozart, Mahler and Vaughan Williams. For many years, he
served as the accompanist for the New Jersey Gay Men's Chorus
and later, for VOICES Chorale and can be
heard on their recordings. He also sang for several years with the Bucks County Motet Singers
and currently sings with
Caritas Chamber Chorale.
Also active in musical theatre, Tim has worked with many schools,
universities and theatre companies throughout the area. At the
Off Broadstreet Theatre in Hopewell,
he has been the musical director and pianist for Mid-life! The Crisis Musical
and Soup du Jour. Since its inception several years ago, he has performed for
the Poquelin Player's popular cabaret series at various venues throughout the
Princeton area appearing most recently in The Love Cabaret, The Paris Cabaret
and Poesia, Musica y Suenos.
Tim is currently the Director of Sacred Music at the Church of Our Lady of
the Mount in Warren, NJ. He maintains a private piano studio and freelances as a
vocal, instrumental and dance accompanist.
A native of Columbus, Ohio, Tim is a graduate of Capital University with a
Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance. He also received a Master of
Music Degree in Piano Performance and Pedagogy from
Westminster
Choir College.
Richard Ludlum received his Bachelor of Music Education from
Westminster
Choir College in Princeton, and his Master of Music degree from Ithaca College,
School of Music in Ithaca, New York. Richard recently retired from teaching in
the Middletown Township Public Schools after thirty-three years. He is currently
Music Director at All Saints’ Episcopal Church in Bay Head. He is the former
Assistant Conductor/Accompanist for the New Jersey Chamber Singers. He was
co-founder of the New Jersey Chamber Singers Children’s Chorus. He has toured
Vienna with the Monmouth Conservatory Children’s Chorus and has played in New
York at Alice Tully Hall and The Academy of Music in Philadelphia. In February
2007, Richard will be guest conductor of All Shore Chorus, Inc. All Shore Chorus
is a select group of high school students from Monmouth and Ocean counties. He
is currently a consultant-clinician for
Pearson Education/Scott Foresman
Publishing.
