(Trenton, N.J.) – The Capital Singers of Trenton will present “In Remembrance” on Sunday, June 28 at 8 p.m. at St. Anthony’s Church in Trenton. The Trenton Community Singers will join them for this annual spring concert conducted by Richard M. Loatman, artistic director of both groups.

The concert features Requiem by Faure, with string quartet, harp and organ. The groups will also perform pieces by Mendelssohn, Bruckner, Alice Parker, Eleanor Daley and Joseph M. Martin. Mr. Loatman will be joined by guest conductors Ellen J. Dondero and Kenneth P. Howard.
The Capital Singers of Trenton is a 35 voice vocal ensemble dedicated to enhancing the art of choral singing, performing patriotic selections at city and county events, providing cultural prestige for New Jersey’s capital city, and creating opportunities of service for the Greater Trenton community. Their motto: “Trenton: Your City, Your Chorus” exemplifies their dedication to the cultural development of New Jersey’s capital city.
