He married Mary Catherine Horton Finley in Georgia.⁽⁹⁷⁰⁾ (Mary Catherine Horton Finley is #36.) Mary was born in Fitzgerald, Georgia August 20, 1899. Mary⁽⁹⁷¹⁾ was the daughter of William M. Horton and Della Mae Prescott Horton. Mary died March 4, 1967 in Jacksonville, Duval Cty., Florida, at 67 years of age. Her body was interred in Jacksonville, Duval Cty., Florida. At 22 years of age Mary became the mother of Della Berniece Finley Boatwright in Fitzgerald, Ben Hill County, Georgia, April 9, 1922.⁽⁹⁷²⁾

Lawton's occupation: Lumber Raftsman. At 39 years of age Lawton became the father of Della Berniece Finley Boatwright in Fitzgerald, Ben Hill County, Georgia, April 9, 1922.⁽⁹⁷³⁾ According to Della Bernice Finley Boatwright, her mother told her when she was a young child that her father had moved to Coffee County. He took to drinking heavy and playing cards. He got drunk while he was smoking cigarettes after playing cards in the woods and was burned to death. (Sometime between 1922-1940). Later she (Della Bernice Finley Boatwright) indicated that he died in Abbeville, Wilcox County, Georgia around 1928.

Della Berniece² Finley Boatwright⁽⁹⁷⁴⁾ (#24) was born in Fitzgerald, Ben Hill County, Georgia April 9, 1922.⁽⁹⁷⁵⁾ She married Dudley Anderson Boatwright in Tifton, Tift Cty., Georgia, May 9, 1942.⁽⁹⁷⁶⁾ (Dudley Anderson Boatwright is #23.) Dudley was born in Fitzgerald, Georgia January 28, 1921. Dudley⁽⁹⁷⁷⁾ was the son of James Irwin Boatwright and Mary Pearl Anderson Boatwright. Dudley died September 1, 1984 in Jacksonville, Duval Cty., Florida, at 63 years of age. His body was interred September 4, 1984 in Jacksonville, Duval Cty., Florida. Dudley's occupation: Supr Aircft Elec. At 24 years of age Dudley became the father of Mary Frances Boatwright Rutledge in Jacksonville, Duval Cty., Florida, March 18, 1945. At 28 years of age Dudley became the father of Polly Sue Boatwright Pooser in Jacksonville, Duval Cty., Florida, August 17, 1949. (See Dudley Anderson Boatwright for the continuation of this line.)

She resides in Jacksonville, Duval Cty., Florida.⁽⁹⁷⁸⁾ Della's occupation: Office Assistant. At 22 years of age Della became the mother of Mary Frances Boatwright Rutledge in Jacksonville, Duval Cty., Florida, March 18, 1945. At 27 years of age Della became the mother of Polly Sue Boatwright Pooser in Jacksonville, Duval Cty., Florida, August 17, 1949.
