Metal Halide UV Light BurnsLife can throw you a curve once in awhile and sometimes the only thing you can do is learn from the experience and move on. On November 12th, 2004 my wife Kellie, a teacher for over 22 years, was exposed to UV light for over 5 hours while in an in-service training session. The metal halide light above her had been broken and was emitting UV light. The burns suffered to her eyes have still not healed over one year later.
