"Dorian Gray" clay sculpture and finished mask. The head was sculpted in Roma plastina #4. The teeth were pre-cast acrylic pressed into the clay to create 'sockets' into the clay. After moldingand casting,the teeth could be glued into the empty sockets in the finished rubber mask. An acrylic ball was used in this way to make the eye socket for the false eye. All of the hair was punched one by one into the mask. Which is why I only made four of these things. |
