This page details some of the work I did for Robert Terrell's COMPUTOONS® for Sierra\Dynamix's upcoming pinball game, 3D Ultra Pinball: Thrill Ride!. COMPUTOONS® was sub-contracted by Dynamix to create some of the 3D graphic elements and animation for the game. Along with Chuck Carden and Dennis Clevenger, I built 3D models of the a variety of the thrill rides.

All of the work was done with 3D STUDIO MAX software, along with Adobe Photoshop.


Small Coaster Small coaster model.  Approximately 300 separate parts.  This is the final test render to approve the model before texturing is applied.

 


Wildcat and smaller coasterThe small coaster along with the "Wildcat". Another gray scale test image before final texturing.  Dennis Clevenger was assigned mapping duties.

 

 


Ramp startRamp start model.   These starts and chain links were used on many of the coasters.  Even though they did not have to animate, I linked them together in a hierarchical chain anyway. Just in case.
