The 'Real' Story behind the Rockin' Raisin

Okay, if you thought this character looks like Jimmy Hendrix you were right. I am a big Hendrix fan, and would listen to tapes of his music while I worked. (plus, the DOORS,BUDDY HOLLY,LED ZEPPELIN) Anyway, I was supposed to work on a design for a Raisin guitarist character. Jimmy seemed like a natural, so he was the main inspiration for this character. However I couldn't make him too much like Hendrix because his likeness is copyrighted through his estate, and neither WVP or CALRAB had the time to clear this. ( plus end up with a complex/expensive licensing agreement.) So at no time did we ever officially refer to him as Jimmy or Hendrix. So he isn't. But he still has the 'feel' of Hendrix.
