Meet across from the Vancouver Community Library at 1007 E. Mill Plain Blvd. with signs.
Promoted by Vancouver for Peace and Episcopal Peace Fellowship.
Every Saturday. 10 am - 2 pm. VFP tabling at Vancouver Farmer's Market.
Please stop by the table if you come to the market to shop. If you are interested in helping with tabling, contact Wilbur Wood . We need volunteers to keep this going. It's fun and we have tables, signs and flyers. |

Emergency Plan for Response IF the US Takes Military Action Against Iran
Meet with signs (we will have try to have extras) outside the O.O. Howard House (Rep. Baird's Office) at Evergreen Blvd and Ft. Vancouver Way.
Time: 4 pm if we get news before 4 pm. At 4pm the following day if the news breaks after 4 pm.
TAKE ACTION NOW TO PREVENT AN ATTACK IRAN HERE or HERE (interfaith statement). |

Join us for this documentary about the wild exploits of Reverend Billy and the Church of Stop Shopping as they use hilariously creative civil disobedience to challenge the American Shopocalypse,
from exorcising the demons at the Wal-Mart headquarters to taking over the center stage at the Mall of America and then ultimately heading to the Promised Land ... Disneyland.
Location: St. Luke's Episcopal Church, 426 E. 4th Plain Blvd, Vancouver. (Parking off F Street)
Time: Doors open at 6:45 PM. Movie starts at 7:00. Discussion following.

Mon., July 7th 6:45 PM. Presentation of Vancouver for Peace Resolution for Ending the War in Iraq to the Vancouver City Council.
The resolution will be presented during the public comment period at the beginning of the meeting. You need to be at city hall before 6:45 pm to sign up for the public comment period. Comments are limited to 3 min. The committee that has planned this requests following the rules and being respectful. View the resolution text. Download to print and share.
