Vagabond Sailboats, Inc., Costa Mesa, CA established
1982
Vagabond Sailboats is purchased by Coast Catamaran a division of
the Coleman Company, Inc. and formerly known as Hobie Cat.
Vagabond becomes a division of Coast Catamaran under the direction of
Ron Holder,former Vagabond Sailboats, Inc. president.
1984
Coast Catamaran introduces the Holder 14 monohull
1986
Holder 14 updated and re-released as the Hobie One-14
1987
Hobie One-14 production moved from San Juan Capistrano to Oceanside,CA
1989
Tony Wilson purchases Coast Catamaran from the Coleman Company
The company name is changed back to Hobie Cat.
1995
Last year of production for the Hobie One-14.
